Control exactly where in the article the Related Posts block lands, instead of only ever at the very end.
Position within the article
Under Settings → General → Position within the article, pick from a few named presets:
- Right under the title
- Right under the featured image
- After the 2nd paragraph
- After the content (the default)
If none of those fit, an exact paragraph number is also available — including a negative number to count from the end of the post instead of the start.
Waiting for your theme’s own ad slot
Some themes render extra content — typically an ad unit — immediately after the main article, using their own placement hook rather than the standard content area. If Related Posts is set to appear at the end of the content, appending it the normal way would put it before that theme content, since the two aren’t on the same rendering pass.
Position vs. theme ad slots (on by default, Settings → General) automatically detects this on SmartMag/Bunyad-based themes and defers Related Posts to render after that slot instead. For any other theme with a similar “after content” hook, a custom ad-hook name field lets you paste in that theme’s own hook name, no code required.
Turning this setting off restores the simpler default: Related Posts always immediately follows the article content, regardless of anything else the theme adds afterward.
Extra placement controls for one specific spot
The block and shortcode both support overriding the heading text or the number of posts shown, for one specific placement, without changing your sitewide default. Useful when a single high-traffic post or landing page needs a different treatment than the rest of your site.
