About
Where the name comes from
Uwawp is built from two pieces: uwa, the Igbo word for "world," and WP, short for WordPress. Put together it reads as "world of WordPress," or "WordPress world." It's a name for the home, not for any one plugin inside it.
What we build
Software that solves something
Each plugin exists to fix one specific annoyance.
Ariadne came first. Most related-posts tools either make you pick links by hand or guess without saying why. Ariadne reads what you've written, finds what a reader would want next, and shows its reasoning.
Mawu Dark Mode came next. WordPress's own dark schemes stop at the toolbar and sidebar, so the page you write on stays bright white. Mawu darkens all of wp-admin, editors included, for free.
Spurn is the newest. Disavow files are easy to lose track of: what's in them, when it went in, and why. Spurn keeps a dated record of every domain and link you disavow, and builds the file for Google.
The Uwawp lineup
Three plugins so far, with more on the way.
The next one ships when it solves a problem as well as these do.
